HOW TO GET WINDOWS MEDIA TOOLBAR BACK IN WINDOWS 7

20:03
Hey friends, Windows XP and Vista had a cool feature where the media player was fitted as a toolbar in the taskbar and had controls in it. In windows 8, it was removed and only 3 button navigation was left.
However, using this tutorial it can be brought back. Just follow the given steps:

Download this file, it is the file that will do the magic.
  • Extract this file and copy to WindowsDrive\Program Files\Windows Media Player (64-bit Windows users will also need to copy the DLL file to %programfiles(x86)%\Windows Media Player folder).
  • Now, make a run command and type services.msc and hit enter.
  • Find Windows Media Player Network Sharing, right click> Stop:
  • Now, last step:
  • Search cmd and Right click> Run As Administrator and paste the following code:
regsvr32 "%programfiles%\Windows Media Player\wmpband.dll"

If you have 64 bit version, you also need to run the following command:

regsvr32 "%programfiles(x86)%\Windows Media Player\wmpband.dll"

  • You now have option to make WMP toolbar, Right click on taskbar> Toolbars>Windows Media Player:
410

Enjoy both type of media players, enjoy!

HAVE A TRICKY DAY!!!
